Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Just applied for a loan through natwest to clear up my credit cards and some money for my house totaling £15000. I got the forms back to sign and returned them etc. Just got a letter asking me to contact them and so i did. They are now saying the underwriters need additional information about my cards and it transpires they need the last 3 months credit card statements to confirm the amount owed there is no problem with this except finding them!. Is this the normal practice with loans or is there somewhere else to get a loan without this hassle.

Thanks

andy

We have just got a Cahoot loan, it was agreed online, papers to sign within 3 days and the money was in the account in another 2 days at 5.6% alot better and cheaper than the Natwest offered us.
  • Natwest have 6.8 at the moment just went with them as i thought it would be less hassle as ive banked with them for years. So would it be an idea to go somewhere else?

I have a loan with Natwest and my current account also, Back in the summer i took out a loan with them and I too had to supply the proof that you have said, but as I was telling the truth it was not a problem or an issue for me, however it took a couple of weeks to get the info together, the day I took all the info into the bank they had another look at the application and decided that they didnt need the info, its basically a case of computer says....
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!
  • Thats the thing i dont have a problem as ive nothing to hide either, I just dont want to wait two weeks to get the money.
