6x 10 pack walkers crisps for £1.63!!! Tesco

tried at the Falkirk store yesterday but only got the buy one get one free offer. did not get the £3 offer !!!

The reason is because "new offers" start on a Wednasday, and Tesco have started to change the shelves on a Tuesday afternoon to use less staff in the changeover.
To comply with trading regs they have also to alter the tills to to accept the next weeks offers cos they are then on display.
So the offers finishing at midnight on Tuesday, are run together with the offers starting Wednesday. No one will have thought of two "specials" on the same products following each other, hence the bargain, and hence its rapid end at Midnight on the Tuesday.

Hope this ramble makes sense, one to keep an Tesco eye on ( concurrent, but different) offers.

....... but dc, this thread started on 2/02/06, which was thursday, and people were saying they were able to get the offers ... so whose right???

Then it must have taken them till thursday night to update the computer.
