Hi Everybody,
Me and OH did the deed on Monday, the court experience was fine in and out in an hour could not believe it. Relief....
Had interview today, the lady was very pleasant, however she did say that child benefit was taken into account for the inc/exp.
Also my wifes interview is on Monday, her car is needed for work and worth about 3300, any suggestions.
Also last point for now, i am divorced and as the divorce went through agreed with my ex wife that i would pay a set amount each month and have done for about 5 years. OR reckons that i must have a court order or similar to prove this and also said my ex might have to get a court order even though i have been paying this for about 5 years,,,,,, any help......

Hi scarletnm
CB is put down and declared on your SOA, but when they look at any surplus amount after all your expenses are paid out if your surplus amount is CB amount plus over £99 pound then they may set an IPA for you.
For example - lets say that your CB is £100pm!!
Surplus amount is £150pm, which is broken down as CB £100pm plus £50 as surplus. So they can only look at the excess after the CB amount is taken off, which in this case is £50.
Hope that makes sense, if not I am sure someone maybe able to explain better in a minute!!0
