IRISH LOTTERY - Can You Help???

Options
Hi - apologies but i'm feeling a bit thick!

trying to follow up the tip on playing the Irish lottery at ladbrokes.com and their site's confusing me! It's the bit where you pick your numbers and put them on a line. Seriously, don't laugh, but i just don't get how to do it...

Their 'help' says: Pick up to 5 numbers to appear in the 6 or 7-ball draw - you win if all your chosen numbers are drawn. Pick between 1 and 5 numbers to match.

Does this mean that if you want to get a payout for matching one number, you should only put one number in each line and pay a stake on that?

I picked 5 numbers last night, matched 2 of them, but think i've lost out cus i put them all on one line...

If anyone knows, i'd love to know too! Thanks... :o

When betting on Irish lottery, 49s etc in betting shops or online, you are betting on fixed odds.
You can choose to play with or with out the bonus balls.
    The odds are as follows
    6 number draw
    pick 1 number 5/1
    pick 2 numbers 50/1
    pick 3 numbers 500/1
    pick 4 numbers 4500/1
    pick 5 numbers 50000/1

    7 number draw
    pick 1 number 4/1
    pick 2 numbers 29/1
    pick 3 numbers 215/1
    pick 4 numbers 2000/1
    pick 5 numbers 20000/1

If you pick 5 numbers, you have to match 5 numbers
If you want to bet on 1 number, put 1 number in the line

    Good luck
