Yeah - not sure if it's a bargain though ... you will probably be dissapointed with quality when you open box.
It will pick up the main terestials with a bit of jiggling and fiddling.
Cheap looking, 'clacky' plastic casing.
Switches/controls don't look like they can handle much pushing and prodding.
BigW/Woolies had identical TV/price before Xmas [did have a 12v car adapter included in box though]
regards S.Learn to laugh at yourself ... everyone else has:rotfl:

I received 3 of these as freebies from Empire Stores orders. I shall probably give them to the scout jumble sale!!0

People should remember that after the digital switch off these little TVs will be absolutely useless. They'll probably be giving these away in a year or so!0

Haven't got one of these myself, but got one similar last year for £15 from one of those electrical discount stores and to be honest I think they are great value depending on your needs.
Screen is bigger than those little Colour LCD's, and I guess it depends on your useage for them. Ours is great for use on camping trips, and even better in the kitchen at home the rest of the time, set it up on a shelf I put up above the treadmill linked to one of those wireless video senders, gives a great incentive to use the treadmill!
£9.99 seems a great bargain if you want one for uses such as camping and even for a little tv for use in the kitchen etc as far as I am concerned, so long as you dont mind it in black and white.0 -

So if it only lasts a year that means you have wasted 2.737p per day but if you don't go digital until 2010 (like some of us up north) you will have wasted upto 0.9p per day.
I bought one for the kitchen. My wife smokes, I watch TV. She wastes around £4.20 per day.

(i.e. fully functional, once connected via a stb)
You can still plug a set-top box into them can't you?
(ok, so if the stb doesn't have a rf modulator then you'll probably need one of these too, unless you use a video/dvd player as the rf modulator)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
You can get those at Woolies for the same price.
I remember seeing plenty in the shops a few months before christmas0 -
These are not cheap, not cutting edge, not of decent quality and not an exceptional bargain. What the flying piscine are richer sounds doing? They seem hell bent on eroding their reputation for flogging good quality hi-fi kit at low prices by churning out this crap at prices no better than the high street. Utter rubbish. (ranting, moi?

Bright Pink one of these was a £5 brand new this morning at a car booty. Colour would have put me off the telly!0
