Hi everybody!! I have just moved over to this board..
In trouble debt wise, not huge amout of cash but I'm over the limit on all my cards and am buring my head in the sand!
I'm trying to sell my car to help pay some of these off, does anyone know the quickest way to sell it and the best place to advertise? I was thinking about ebay??0 -
Have you tried your local paper or the free ad sites on line for the car? Ebay could be a possibility just as with any online marketplace beware of the scams and only accept cash! No dodgy 'we'll send a courier to collect'!Sealed Pot Challenge #623, Boots points = 619Current Debts: £62K:A0

I sold my old car on ebay - make sure you have loads of pictures and set a reserve price. At the same time, put an advert in the local paper - you can always pull the ebay auction if you sell it through the paper. Just think - it could be all done in a week!0

Thanks everyone,
In terms of debt i have the following :-
Barclaycard £5000 @ 16%
RBS CC £400 @ 19%
Marbles £650 @ 25%
Lloyds TSB O/Draft @ £890
Littlewoods £1100 @ 32%
Next £250 @ 29%
I know this isnt a lot compared to most but when Im helping my Fiance with her Credit Card payment to the tune of £250 a month and saving for our wedding in August it doesnt leave a lot to play with at the end of the month!0
