Would you help your neighbour thats being Repossesed

Apparently one in five Britons would be happy to lend a desperate neighbour £1,000 to prevent them being repossessed

LOL. Well I'm one of the 4/5 that wouldn't. If they can't manage their finances properly then that's their headache not mine.

    PS. Cue the "vulture" posts.

I wouldn't either and I very much doubt that many of the 1 in 5 would when push came to shove. If it was for family or a close friend that'd be a different thing.

I do not believe that for a second, sorry. Everyone is struggling and half the population either do not know their neighbors names or they do not get on with them. I guarantee that whilst there are some kind hearted folk they only said yes to be morally correct.

The 1 in 5 that would do it probably just don't want their house price to plummet when next doors house gets sold at auction for next to nothing.

Exactly. Also if they cannot keep up with payments when do you seriously expect to see the money again? They then get repossessed and move to the other side of the country to be with relatives etc.

    Bye-bye £1000. :rotfl:;)

One off payments don't stop the problem though do they ..... they'd need it each month to make a difference... how many would do that??
