Hello,
I am in the process of setting up a DMP, i wanted to include all my debt so i checked my credit file and found a default from Natwest from nearly 6 years ago.
So i have contacted them to get the details and they can not find this debt on there system.
What do i do? do i contact experian or just leave it to fall off my credit file?

I would say that if Natwest can't provide any details, then that is just tough on them.
After all this time it is very likely to have been sold off anyway.
How long is it since you last acknowledged the debt in writing or by making a payment? I was wondering if it was statute barred anyway?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

It was sent to a debt collectors a couple of years ago and i said i didn't acknowledge the debt as it was all bank charges and i was in the process of reclaiming them back. Since then i haven't heard a thing, so i assumed the DCA had passed it back to Natwest.
I will contact CCCS to have the debt taken off my DMP plan.Started slimming world 4th November 2010
