With the credit crunch, nurseries & garden centers have felt the pinch, and will do for a while, because while people have been holding onto their purse strings, albeit for 3-4 months, in order to manage their bank accounts, garden centers, etc, have not been able to stock up for the February - onward deluge of custom.
It is a big shame because in harder times, we all especially appreciate some home grown veg and flowers to cheer us up, and we, as customers will be wanting their shelves to be full!0 -
