I need a bathroom floor tiling and have been quoted some prices that I feel are too high. I mean it will probably only take 2hrs or so but they want £150. I think £75 an hr is a bit much and I reckon someone would be happy to do this for a fair rate if I could contact them. Would it be a good idea to have a section on MSE for this?

I don't think any advertising at all is allowed on this site and i understand that you are not doing it for personal gain but i'm sure i've read it somewhere.

The only boards i can think of would be the "Referrer's" or the "DIY" board, and the DIY board is where you could ask if your specific quote is fair or not.

If you go to the local moneysaving site you could ask if anyone could recommend a tiler/handyman. Other than that, like woody said, you can't post for one outright.
