help re post office loophole

can anyone please help
when the post office loophole for insurance was on i missed thequidco offer on the day but i still took out the insurance with £100 cashback
as i remember it could be claimed after 3 months
i have tried to chase this up several times without any success, today they have said that the offer changed when i took mine out so i will have to wait until the year is up
i am almost sure this is not the case as i can remember ringing them to confirm but i did not save the web page when i applied
if anyone saved the offer could they please let me know
i have made a complaint and they are again looking into this for me
