Need alot of makeup fast my DS decided to play with his mummys makeup bag and there is very little left thats actually useable. Cos I need to replace most things without actually budgeting for it the cheaper the better, but only on cost not performance (need lots of help with that one lol)

Before xmas Boots had a promotion where if you spend 10quid on no 17, you got a free evening bag containing some make up which was worth 15 quid. Since xmas, this bag has been reduced and you can now buy it on its own for 1quid 86p which isnt bad for 15 quids worth of make up.

Tesco does a basic range of makeup - 3 items for £5. Eyeliner pencil is very dark and smudgy, if you like that. Lippy OK, but not much staying power. Mascara OK, too. Had to make emergency purchase after setting out for the day - "I'll put my makeup on in the car". Which would have been OK if I'd actually put the blooming stuff in my bag!

Boots have an offer at the moment where if you spend £15 on No7 products you also get a free make-up bag, stay perfect nail colour, full impact mascara, protect and perfect beauty serum, younger longer time resisting hand cream, intelligent colour foundation, uplifting day cream and a lipstick. This is a really nice set and well worth spending £15 to get. Hope this helps.

Just like to say that I order loads of make up from above site, as I have two teenage daughters, everything was £1, but very pleased with all that I ordered, got 10% and also free p&p, my total bill came to £11.

I ordered from here too but although the site is great and they were very efficient I didn't rate the products that highly. Great for my teenage daughter but not for me to use for everyday The No17 offer sounds a lot better IMO

I buy all my make up from ebay now. I recently bought some maybelline foundation for £3 inc postage, and some eye shadow for £1.60 inc postage. You can get some really good buy it now items on there. What I've done is actually look on the website ie maybelline to see what they've got and then search on ebay. I don't think I'll ever pay full price for makeup again!!
