i would say better invest in a good quality blender, then it can do all sorts of things. at the moment i use mine for making pasta sauces, juices, hoummus, salad dressings etc, and soups, but as soon as i start weaning my baby it will make all his meals too.
if its something you will use often an expensive one, perhaps sourced in a sale is a better buy as they tend to be easier to clean and will last longer.

We have an expensive blender/food processor that we bought a few years ago. The juicer was an added extra and we didn't want to spend a great deal of money on it, especially as these items have a short life and end up in the back of a cupboard! So far we have tried all the various fruit and veg we have in the kitchen and have experimented different variations on a theme. For under £10 I think its a great investment :T

    Just my own opinion :)

It really annoys me about drinks like Sunny Delight. The manufacturers insisted that shops placed it in chiller cabinets so it 'looked' like it was fresh juice. To the ordinary consumer it would have seemed that way but the long life of the so called juice was a bit of a giveaway but not everyone knows about things like that.
It is basically sugar and water with some added vitamins to make it look a whole lot better than it is.

Not forgetting all the unnecessary added chemicals, ie colours, flavourings, etc!
