Staples are doing this all inm one scanner/Copier/Printer for £49.99 minus another £2.50 thru Quidco.

Lexmark ink is notoriously expensive (Unless someone knows different) and I believe I heard that Lexmark are in trouble so be aware but for a scanner alone this doesn't seem a bad deal IMHO.

I don't know the model number but it looks exactly the same, I expect the specifications have all been updated in the model you show in your post, to me a printer is a printer, actually she does not use the fax but still got value for her money.rizla01 wrote:Hi Elves.

currys and dixons both do the lexmark x2350 "the world's smallest all in one "!!! apparently for only £39.99 - seems a bargain!0

Be wary that (generally) cheap printers have VERY expensive running costs - the printer itself is a loss-leader... they make the money on consumables so ALWAYS look at the cost of cartridges when making a decision.watson26 wrote:currys and dixons both do the lexmark x2350 "the world's smallest all in one "!!! apparently for only £39.99 - seems a bargain!
I spent £300 on an Epson colour laser a while back because it's only about 1p a sheet for black and white while photo-quality colour prints are about 15p a sheet (consider 4 photos a sheet and not bad at all in the long run).

yep lexmark consumables are probbably as much as the printer.0

There was a big thing a while back about Lexmark printers installing spyware onto your computer. Google it.
Also the lexmark I had for my laptop re-configured the registry thingy and now I cannot run any other printers off it.S!!!!horpe0 -
I once bought a Lexmark. It was £65 to replace the two cartridges. Colour was £34.99 and the black was £29.99. I believe Lexmark have the printheads on the cartridges themselves which makes them more expensive. I think Sid Harper above hit the nail on the head when he described them as 'loss leaders'. When PC magaznes do group tests on printers Lexmark always have the highest running costs.Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0
