I,m looking for free software for digital camera

Does anyone know where I can get some free software, for my digital still camera.

It is a Sony Cybershot DSC-P 12.

I did have some (ImageMixer ver 1.5) free disc in the box, but it is very basic.

P.S. can I use this camera as a webcam?

Search google for picassa.

Its google's software (free) which should give you all the functions that you need.

You can sort, crop, fix red eye.... have a look at the website.

If picassa is too basic have a look at GIMP http://www.gimp.org/windows/

it is like earlier version of Photoshop very powerful and free ....

Have found Picasa's red eye removal leaves blue markings like eyeshadow on pics. Other than that its great. Love the one fix 'I'm feeling lucky' button.

I really love this app, and, of course, its free.

Not quite free but have a look at the discs on computer and digital camera magazines as they often have good software on them that's only a couple off years old and will do most things.

I think there a couple of magazines that you can find at 3 for £1 on ths site somewhere and you get something to read too.
