Tesco Vouchers - Holiday booking?

Anyone used their Tesco Vouchers against the price of a holiday?
There seems to be a lot of companies in the Tesco scheme so who actually does the best deals?
Has anyone had a really top deal?
Is it possible to get a late booking ( staying outside the 14 day rule)?

Ive got over £500 worth of deals buring a hole in my pocket so any advice would be appreciated

if i'm reading this right you have £500 of vouchers this equates to £2000 clubcard deals which means you get a £2000 holiday for £500 the only downside is you have to pay full brochure price so you shouldnt get any late bookings etc but it still includes 2 for 1 offers so really all i can suggest is look around
i went to Egypt dfor 10 days over Xmas should have cost £2000+ i got it & free parking at Gatwick for less than £700 in vouchers
    all the best

hope this helped in some little way

It depends on where you want to go.

We are having a week in August at Haven as I have a 33 mth old and an 18 mth old and that will do us fine....for a nice price of £499

You will have to obide by the rules though....ie book at least 14 days before travel and send in your deal tokens within 3 days of booking or lose it.

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker
Friend booked last week with Cosmos:
1 week in Gran Canaries for 2 people full price just under £1000. £250 Clubcard Vouchers were converted into deals tokens before she booked. Lady at Cosmos advised her to do this as you have to get tokens to them within 14 days of booking. It only took 2 days from sending off Clubcard Vouchers to receiving tokens. Cosmos did take a deposit off her but this is fully refundable as long as they receive tokens within 14 days of booking.

Does anyone know where to get any free clubcard points from? I recently received my clubcard, so I have'nt got many points, and I will be booking a holiday near christmas this year, so if I can get a few free points without spending anything to get a jump start?

    Thanks all,

    Steve.

  • You can pay part cash and part vouchers, or all vouchers.
  • I was just booking a short European break with Bridge the other day. You actually have to have your tokens (not just Tesco vouchers) at the time of booking, as they take the token codes / reference numbers over the phone from you. Also, they advised sending within 5 days by recorded post. Discounts applied though (what was printed in the brochure, Early Bird, etc.)

On how to get many points quickly - it was discussed before. Someone advised joining all their clubs (baby/toddler, wine, healthy living, etc) and taking advantage of extra point coupons they send through the post. I often get extra point deal printed out at the tills, so it's worth popping at the shop every now and then. Also, if you shop over the internet, there are offers of money off but also extra points for minimum spend. If you are collecting points, go for the relevant offer, of course.
