bullying is always a problem anyway if you have got cash/new gadget etc they want it and if you haven't kids are subject to taunts about being poor and scruffy etc

I've heard that you even have to pay to put cash into these cards on a rising scale dependant on how much you put in. All in all its a very expensive way to look cool. Will it lead to children hooked on easy plastic money ? perhaps you could offer him the cash instead but extra so that he gets the fees you would pay to set it up.

Maybe so, but I think it's only in American movies where bullies take dinner money off their victims and get away with it!
