  • I'm not sure about Paypal but wanted to let you know I'd had a very bad experience with an online company called Angel Yarns. Most of the wool I ordered from them didn't materialise and judging from an online forum they had at that time, several customers had the same experience. I emailed and wrote to them and they just ignored me. Trading Standards locally were aware of them, too. Obviously you must make up your own mind but I would avoid them like the plague.

  • Have you tried eBay?

I have a trusted shop there and never had problems (yet ;))

Probably get told off for posting this here (yada yada - it's not shop but don't drop - yada yada - yawn), but I second ebay - prices are generally good or at least the same as in shops, they take paypal and I haven't (touch wood!) had a problem with any sellers yet - have brought some lovely yarn, and some real bargains to boot! Anything I've wanted have been able to get on there, if it's not listed you could try contacting a couple of the people with yarn shops on there and asking if they could get it for you?

    Hope that helps :)

Hi BB, the site's called ClickettyClack. Great prices and very reasonable postage, and she sells King Cole , which is good wool
Most of the sites I found were handspun hand dyed & £13.95 a ball !! I just wanted good wool, not designer stuff , so am pleased.
  • http://www.colourmart.com/eng Fantastic service and gorgeous cashmere and silk - have just finished a shawl in mixed cashmere silk from a cone which cost about £15 - and there is enough left on the cone for another one.
I bought from Angel Yarns a couple of years ago and they were really good - what has happened?
