Barclays 1 year fixed!

Erm... the so called 1 year fixed by barclays which is on the news is'nt that good. For a £995 fee it is actually rubbish.

A couple of years ago a 1yr fix with a 3 yr tie would have been laughed off the page- now it gets headline news, thats not to say its a bad deal ( at below 60% rate) compared with the rest of the current offerings - I do wonder about the margins over base that new trackers are being sold at ... as if with ties they could end up looking expensive ( or perhaps we wll never see lower tracker margins again!)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
