Michellin Starred Restaurant for £19

Hi,

my husband went to this yesterday. Very posh.

L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in London is a Michellin starred restaurant which is normally around the £100 mark.

It has an offer on tho - 2 courses for £19 or 3 for £25:

Sounds interesting. Going to see a show next week, what is the menu and what are drink prices like. Is there a dress code?
    Thanks.

If you click on more details under the two course option in brackets it has 3 courses for £25. The £69 is only valid in La Cuisine (first floor) so presumably the £19/25 is in the L'Atelier section (ground floor) or La Salon Bar place.

    Hi,

yes, MOH was sitted in the "bar area" downstairs.

He had gone from work so was wearing a jacket and shirt, but not suit or tie.

The menu was pretty limited - I think the main-course options were bream or steak tartare. I don't know if this varies every day tho.

    Cheers,

I can also recommend L'autre Pied which recently won it's first star and it's parent restaurant Pied a Terre which has two stars. Both do extremely reasonably priced set menus - http://www.pied-a-terre.co.uk/default.asp?V_SITE_ID=5. We ate at Pied a Terre last year and thought it was the most outstanding service and food we've ever had.
