Also i have a watch a tag which when new cost £975 8 years ago on second hand sites they are fetching around £200 should i declare this in my assets or not? the receiver is only interested in assetts which in auction would fetch at least £1000...so i'd leave it thanks in advance

    Hi rivers

Have you taken debt advice before considering bankruptcy? If not contact one of the organisations in philnicandamy's post.

You can declare your tax credits in your bankruptcy and as OP says it is unlikely will look at watch.

Re car it depends firstly on whether you have spare income for an IPA (income payment arrangement) and how much the lease payments are.
