Hi,
I am looking to cover a number of appliances which are now out of thier warranty.
I would be grateful for any advice as to which companies are better and if there are any good offers at the moment.
Thanks

I have applicance cover with British Gas, I think, without digging my bills out, that it is about £17-£18 per month for 5 appliances. Hope that gives you an idea.0

I've always gone with Domestic and General via their website. Only fact to consider is the cover arrangement, the price isn't too bad but the level of cover decreases over time, i.e. first few years (when its unlikely to break!!)they will cover the item 100% but then it drops DRASTICALLY over the time you may actually need it!
This was my experience so yours may be different but please check, eventually the cover was nearly as much as the potential payout so I just started to put the same amount into a savings account, nearly saved enough to replace my TV with a much better one and not lining anyones pocket but my own! HTH
