Actually I am a Private Banking cutomer and I spoke to them about this yesterday. Their Mortgage Advisor clarified that when it states for 'exisitng customers' it means existing mortgage customers! Therefore the rates are not so good for those just with a bank account. Bit dissapointed myself as I liked theor 5 yr & 10yr fixed rates and was going to switch.Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......0

How long to you have to retain an advantage gold account for after you have taken out the mortgage?
When we did ours we asked for the 3 month trial of ad.gold and went in after 10 weeks and had it changed back with a full refund. Mortgage is still on the ad.gold rate 4 years later!Too many children, too little time!!!

None of the lenders are willing to commit themselves at the moment,
Most people coming out of the fixed are going onto the SVR's and one the rates begin to creep up everyone will be trying to jump onto a fixed rate0
