Medway OR

Just wanted to know if anyone has had any dealings with the OR from the area?

If so what are they like?

I know, that they can all be different, just interested if anyone has previous/present dealings with them.

5 years ago I had dealings with them. Probably pretty irrelevant now :) Not sure what you want to know, they went through things in a very matter-of-fact manner and almost whizzed through half of it. They didn't delve much into how I got into that position in the first place, what debts were for etc, was quite a short phone call really.

Might have changed in the subsequent 5 years though! :D

  • Hi, went br last april. Had face to face interview with OR at Chatam, even thou a staight forward case (no property, assets etc). OR assistant who interviewed me was a young girl who was very sweet, profesional and understanding. She said no surplus income to pay for a IPA but did sign a NT IPA there and then. Also she did say that I would be eligible for an early discharge, but that has not happened. Just over 2 months to go to automatic discharge. At some point last year was transfered to RTLU at Whitstable but not informed, found out by looking at the Insolvency website. They have been very friendly with me with regard a couple of enquiries regarding work bonuses (£200 -£300). Let me keep one a and a percentage of xmas bonus. Don't worry about them, they are ok and just dooing their job.

Dealt with the OR in Chatham in january (This year) for my BR. telephone interview only. Very friendly and are clearly busy so the interview was fine and pretty fast. mine was also a simple case (no assets etc) and have not been called in for an interview following the tlephone conversation. You will be just another number to them! On the day of my interview they had already lost my file and spent 2 hours looking for it.
