Jinky - i don't really know where Bristol is either.... apart from driving to Blackpool and Wales (and consequently to Bunnys, which i thought would be near birmingham but really wasn't!) i don't know anything, except the stops on the east coast mainline by train when i worked at Gatwick! (and that time, i thought i was going to be working in London!!! not bleeding West Sussex!!)

but then, could this lot tell us where Anstruther is? Or the Black Isle? Or Fraserburgh?! - lol!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Oh really, I finish at 2pm Monday. I live down the road from Costco (in avonmouth) however I work in Makro, I dont know what the membership would allow fopr us as I know it allows the police in but I dunno about your line of work. I could ask. If not you can always have a browse on my card ;)
Ok mate, well if the timings work out, you could be an on hand negotiator for Makro, we could have a coffee and I could drop you off at home if you like; or have you passed you passed your driving test?

If we took a survey...'Hands up all those who got in to most debt when they were earning their highest Salary?' we'd get close to 100%.

When will they start teaching sensible, practical, money-management at School??

The education system are starting to recognise this need and are now slowly offering courses at 16+ and embedding personal finance into the curriculum in secondry school.....................personally I think we should catch them at around 8-9 years to brainwash them early.

I teach a personal finance course to age 16-18year olds and it amazes me the amount of kids that have no idea about the perils of debt.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
