available credit

hi, i am currently trying to apply for a small loan, but i have been rejected. i have a good credit report with only £1000 debt on a credit card which i never miss payment on. i have good incoming of roughly £1000 a month and my outgoing are as low as £100, i stay with my parents so no rent, just phone bill and monthly credit card repayment. i noticed my available credit low at only £1300. having good circumstances how do i raise my available credit to secure a loan?

any advice would be appreciated.

What is 'small' and who have you applied to? Where have you seen your available credit as £1300?
    :p
  • hi, the loan i'm looking for is about £5500 for a car and i've applied to sainsburys bank, i learned of my available credit from experian credit report, it advises you of your available credit and how much of this you are currently using.

Your available credit in that context means that the credit you currently have available to you totals £1,300 - not the credit you are able to get.

Who did you apply to? Are you listed on the electoral roll?

your income is 1,000 per month?
your expenses are 100 per month?
why do you have 1000 outstanding on a CC ?
why don't you just save up for things you want..you seem to have lots of spare income?
  • I agree entirely with Clapton. :T :T :T :T :T
