Any 95% mortgages available?

I spoke to a broker today, just an informal chat as she was not whole of market, and she said no one was lending 95% at the moment.

We are first time buyers. Is this correct?
I have autistic spectrum disorder which is a social communication disorder so please be patient with me.

    Thanks, but if you go through their application process there isnt any 95% deals.

    There are 95% deals available, I know of 2.

    One you have to pay £2500 in fee up front, the other is for existing customers only so wouldnt help a FTB.

    According to an article in the Evening Standard (13th August 2011), Newcastle, Clyesdale and Skipton are all offering 95% LTV.
