Do you think that has happened here and had an effect on house prices then? I'm not convinced myself.0 -
I remeber everyone telling me (young ftb's) that if they didn't manage to buy now (2004/5/6/7/8) then they would never manage to buy for their whole lives because they would never come back down again.
Oh, and I remember the government telling us that there is a massive shortage of housing. there aren't enough houses to go around. We need to sell off brownfield to create affordable housing as we are running out.I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

"They double every seven years".
Actually, I think the above quote is true for a few seven year periods but it's still annoying.
Also, it's a quote, but pretty much every house, everywhere, for the last ten years has been painted white and has wooden floors. I have nothing against white walls and wooden floors, but it's become a house uniform.
Therefore, just to be different, I have black and purple stripey walls and a shingle / gravel floor in my lounge.0 -
I double glazed the floor and put laminate on the windows. Got a plasma radio as well.0
