Moving money from the U.K. to India

As a non Indian and having no Indian relatives I am finding it difficult , cumbersome and expensive to move money into an Indian bank account.
Does anyone know of a relatively simple method ?

This is a site by the Times of India people... have been using it. The give a good rate and the transfer is usually free(Depending on the amount you transfer and whether your company has an account with them).
In any case you can call them and request a free transfer.. the call centre guy usually gets a commission and will give you a special offer.
