in Cutting tax
Hi ,
I would be grateful for your advice. I am a dental graduate currently studying medicine so as to train in maxillofacial surgery which requires you to be qualified in dentistry (BDS) and medicine (MBBS). I work partime and out of hours to fund my education and i am in considerable debt at the moment. My annual tution fees for medicine is £20,000. (Have paid £60,000 in total in the last 3 years) . I have sought the advice of an accountant and they dont seem to have dealt with a similar case and were not helpful even after charging a fee for their service. I would be grateful for your advice if any part of the fees would be tax exempt or charged at a lower rate of tax. Thank you for your time.
