Also, on half-price on Monday were quite a few of the Indian and Chinese sauces - like Korma, Makrani (?), Sweet and Sour. These are usually around £1.80. These are much nicer than the Homepride/Uncle Ben's type thing.

Nope - this advert is deceiving - the offer was only for 3 days:
    www.salemole.com/store/Marks_.and._Spencer/#sale144

They have 3 for 2 on chinese food still - maybe this will last for 15 days

So it's over? That's a shame, I wanted that one more than the two dine for 10 and meant to go today.

I know it has been discussed before but I can't remember what size of ready to roast chicken is allowed on this offer. Can anyone tell me.

    Thanks

I don't think it is a whole chicken this time - ready to roast usually means it is the chicken breast in a tin foil tray, ready to pop in the oven. Perhaps someone can confirm? Ta
  • This site has some good tips on when to go to get there just after delivery and about stock being in other places in the shop:

(just scroll down a bit from where it takes you to cos the menu's long)

I went first thing this morning and the shelves were bulging :D

I went in today and didn't see any whole chickens out in the offer section, so i got the chicken breast in the tray.
