Should I give up my job to retrain as a High School Teacher?

My current situation: Work in the Construction Industry and there is a high chance of redundancy at the moment. I have always wanted to get into Primary Teaching or Secondary School teaching (Home Economics). I have got as far as filling out the GTTR application after checking I have necessary grades etc. All good…

The hard work starts in September then!! Atleast you didn't have to wait for 4 weeks - but the wait over the weekend must have been a killer when you knew there had been an update. Best of luck for your new career :T
