Martin has plugged this site in his latest email by saying they pay top prices for your cds and dvs. However I went to list my DVD titles to see what I could get for them. I found some were not even listed, some said they had too many copies of this already, and prices were not very generous. Obviously it is better than giving them to a charity shop in that you get something back but they offered dreadfully low rates. One of my titles - all of which are in mint condition played only once - was offered 15p for, average was about 50p,one extremely rare one wasn't even on their database and another one which was a mint unplayed 2 disc collectors edition was offered only £1 the highest I seemed to get aside from the whole £2.50!!!I was offered from a still in wrapper unplayed box set.

By all means use this site. I am not telling you not to but it doesnt appear to be the bargain/top find Martin suggests.

I had a look too and a dvd I can get £1 trade in credit at Blockbuster I got offered 30p for and loads of others they wouldnt even accept/ or were on system!
I think if you go into your local cex/ blockbuster you will get a lot more ££ for your dvds & games!!

snow we have a cex but they don't display their offered prices. Can you or anyone give me a hint as to what they pay for what on average?

go online http://www.cex.co.uk/ type in what you wanna trade ie "enchanted dvd" and search it tells you selling price & underneath cash price & store credit price

thanks snow. will give it a try...will even post here the differences if anyone is interested..none of them are coming up on a search cept for Dogville where they will give me 12p less than music magpie??

Maybe I will go instore and see what I can fetch and also try to see what Blackbuster will give me??

I also have heard bad things about this site from reading reviews on other websites.. like they take ages to send the cheque out and claim not to have received your CDs yet when you posted them weeks ago
