Hello All, I need a new tumble dryer as mine has given up the ghost (just out of warranty, typical!!). I can't afford too much, can anyone give me any ideas where to look?
Thanks,

First I would try pricerunner.co.uk or kelkoo.co.uk see what kind of prices they can come up with.
Check the boards for money off codes that might add for a discount.
Another option is to buy secondhand, which might save some money in the long term - but who knows what next week might hold! try ebay or your local paper!
We're looking for one at the moment as well! So good luck!!It's all under control!:beer:0 -
Try here http://www.clearance-comet.co.uk/
I got one before Christmas for £60. They are often shop demo units or returned unwanted/unused. The goods are given a new 12 month warranty by Comet as well.

If its just out put a complaint in to the manufacturer. You should expect fair wear n tear of at least a few years.
If you registered it you may get an offer to insure it just after warranty expired.Take it! Bit naughty I know but things just dont last the same anymore more technical they get easier they break.0 -

That looks like a great site, have bid on one already and will put it in my favourites for future purchases. Thanks.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -

Let us know how you get on!
BTW, if you don't win the model you really want, they always have more of the same models coming up in subsequent days - they seem to auction every item off individually and over a length of time. This is great, because everyone that wants a particular item gets a chance, and once the keen bidders have left the auction you could get a bargain.

I got a condenser dryer & a cannon cooker, 2 yrs ago,at a fraction of their real price, from this place. Both are still like new, after much use.....by wife of course. I just made sure it was `damage to package only`.0
