I don't think anyone has told the court that the OR doesn't contact you the day of, or the day after BR

It took about a week for a letter to come through, but if there's anything you're worried about give them a call.

Definitely not JH ..... reading the posts lately the OR's are quite often getting in touch later than we expect....
I was made BR on 12th and was told to expect a call a week later. What I actually got was a letter and the OR pack nearly a fortnight later.
A couple of the posters from around the same time still haven't heard.
    Don't worry.

  • I went BR on the 6th January, I didnt see the judge in court just a clerk, after going through the forms and the judge issuing with our BR cert, we had to wait at the court for the OR to phone, had a 5 minute call with him where he asked us about bank accounts and how much cash we had, hubby said £1k and he asked us to take it to his office as it was an asset, we pointed out we needed to pay the mortgage, bills and buy food for our starving children as they hadnt been fed since our debt problems started, he agreed we could feed them, he asked if there was anything that urgently needed dealing with, said no and that was it. received our 'welcome to BR pack' 6 days later and a letter telling me that the OR would call me on the 3rd of February and that hubby had to go to their office on the 3rd of February. I thought that was a bit of a wait as we will be celebrating our 1st month a few days later :-)

Your poor starving children, nervous mother! I don't think I would have confessed to having the cash.

My OR interview is 16th Feb - 5 weeks after BR!

We had to tell him as it was the honest thing to do, plus of course it appeared on his bank statement as him withdrawing it the day before BR

5 weeks? the waiting is the hard part, be glad when its over, knowing if we can keep our home, our cars our children, Im concerned about the last bit as they are a drain on our wages and he may think they are not financially viable, but surly cant be classed as an asset as when i tried to sell thim i was told i had to pay someone to take them, isnt that negative equity? lol.

I left the court and did some shopping, went home and there was a message on my answer phone from the OR
