Hi Bloodstone
These types of communication are usually a scare tactic to get you to contact them. They very rarely visit your home but even if they do, you DONT have to let them in - they have no powers at all!
You can just tell them to buzz off (or words to that effect!)0 -
Do not let them in!! They will only wait so long... phone them up to discuss the debt, if you really cant pay go to CAB to discuss your financial situation. See if its possible if you can pay a lower amount.0

Bloodstone,
You do NOT have to let them in. The law states that DCA may only call around if they have appointment, and as you have not made an appointment, it ends there. Generally, threats like this are empty and used as a scare tactic, usually no body calls round, and if they do, they just post a card through the door. ( happened to me ) These people have NO rights at all. The only people who can call uninvited are Bailiffs and before it reaches that stage, it must of gone to court and you must of ignored a court order to pay, and from what I gather that is a long, long way off. Do not answer the door, or if you must just tell them to push off.0 -
i had the same card through, theres an old thread on here about them, they take on MBNA debt and are based in India i think. Think the card is just a play on words, they say something like "I confirm i will be calling between 8am and 9pm", on the phone maybe, they never turned up at my place anyway.0
