Co-Op Account pre-BR Question!

Hi All

Quick question about an account at Co-Op.

We have opened our Co-Op account in joint names ready for when we go BR and have all our money now going into this account and have set up DD & Std Orders etc.

My question is, if I am able to open an account with Co-Op pre-BR in just my name will this account be frozen when I go BR, or will the OR let me keep this one open too??

As want to use this account as a sort of saving account, so we can put any spare money (if we have any) into for Holidays etc. As it will be easier for us to manage the joint account for everyday use.

Any help or if you think it wiser to wait until BR, then let me know - cheers

Does anyone know? What is best for a a/c in my name = pre or post BR??

if before BR then inform the OR during your interview..only known of 2 accounts of co-op accounts being closed when opened before BR (and that was due to a grumpy OR)....after BR they dont need to know

Many members here have opened co-op accounts before BR without any probs...but the OR will need to know
