£120 Tax rebate....HELP!!!!

Me and my colleague have had the £60 tax rebate as promised in september. I thought we were supposed to be getting £10 a month from then till the end of this tax year. Neither of us has had anything extra.....have we got it wrong????

You will not have actually received a refund in the subsequent months, but you should have paid £10pm less tax - assuming you are a basic rate taxpayer. Is your employer operating code 603L? If so, this is correct.

Neither of us has paid any less tax(we have looked over the years payslips), our tax codes are 603L. Where do we stand and who do we need to contact to sort this out ??????

If the code is 603L .... then you are getting the £600pa extra allowance (£600 @ 20% = £120 over the whole year) introduced in Sept ...... so you are paying at a reduced rate. Your code prior to Sept would have been 543L?

If a compare of Oct / Nov / Dec payslips shows no reduction against the tax paid in July / August ...... then there must have been an increase in pay which is compensating?
