On the flexx product they gave I think - 0.25%.
New rate is 4.54%.
If it stayed like that or lower for a reasonably long time I would be happy BUT somehow I think we are all going to start seeing rate rises sooner than most think.
Then again what do I know - as my ex-wife keeps tells me!0 -
woohoo, more dosh in my pocket, more dosh in the taxman's. Oh well can't win em all.

It's a good time tenants. Landlords having a little extra money are more likely to complete those repairs in good time.
Since April I have spent considerably on the heating system replacing old night storage heaters. This will reduce my tax bill next January. This year I plan to replace some of the double glazing but I need to confirm that these are not covered by the 10% wear and tear allowance before I decide how much to spend. New carpets, oven, hob and window blinds may also be added but these are covered by the 10% allowance.
Happy days for tenants?

I like your twist on the subject. Happy days for your tenants GG, hehe. If only all landlords were like you, I guess, we wouldn't get such a bad name.
I had the same opinion as socrates, rates could rise sooner than we think. Those Flexx products were very good, makes fixing easier when the time is right. Now could anyone tell me when that is? That's my plan anyway.
So what are all your future plans on the flexx mortgages or any BTL mortgage with good LTV's? Sit on it or looking to change?
Will be looking to adding more properties in hopefully the near future too.0 -
I just purchased a carbon monoxide detector and a vax for my tenants
