Oasis refund policy

My girlfriend bought a top from oasis 6 months ago, tags are still in the top.
She's decided she no longer is keen on this top and its been sitting in the wardrobe but during a sort out she's decided that she wanted to sell it or get a refund
Would this be possible without a reciept??

Refund without receipt after 6 months, no. Shops are only legally bound to give a refund if the goods are faulty and most have policies about it being brought back in the first 14/28 days (and after 6 months it won't be current season so will be obvious). If she just decides she doesn't like it, it's basically tough luck.0

Yep, if all else fails, e-bay it. you will get a much better price for something brand new with tags, close enough to the original price in some cases0

I believe that the policy is this: If you have a receipt, and it is within 28 days - you can have a refund at the value you paid. If it is over 28 days regardless of whether or not you have a receipt you should be offered an exchange at the current selling price. However, as it was such a long time ago you may find that they current selling price is much lower than she actually paid for it, possibly even 70% lower.
I would advise she goes into the store and says she was bought the top as a gift and can she exchange it as she doesn't like it. Then if they say no, we haven't sold these for 6 months she doesn't look stupid. But I imagine they will give her an exchange at the current price. However if this is really low, e-bay may be a better bet.There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.
Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.
