Oasis refund policy

My girlfriend bought a top from oasis 6 months ago, tags are still in the top.
She's decided she no longer is keen on this top and its been sitting in the wardrobe but during a sort out she's decided that she wanted to sell it or get a refund
Would this be possible without a reciept??

Refund without receipt after 6 months, no. Shops are only legally bound to give a refund if the goods are faulty and most have policies about it being brought back in the first 14/28 days (and after 6 months it won't be current season so will be obvious). If she just decides she doesn't like it, it's basically tough luck.0

Give it a try you have nothing to loose they can only say no.0

Give it a try you have nothing to loose they can only say no, but you would only get the current selling price and has probably been reduced in the sale0

eBay it?

Yep, if all else fails, e-bay it. you will get a much better price for something brand new with tags, close enough to the original price in some cases0

I believe that the policy is this: If you have a receipt, and it is within 28 days - you can have a refund at the value you paid. If it is over 28 days regardless of whether or not you have a receipt you should be offered an exchange at the current selling price. However, as it was such a long time ago you may find that they current selling price is much lower than she actually paid for it, possibly even 70% lower.
I would advise she goes into the store and says she was bought the top as a gift and can she exchange it as she doesn't like it. Then if they say no, we haven't sold these for 6 months she doesn't look stupid. But I imagine they will give her an exchange at the current price. However if this is really low, e-bay may be a better bet. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.
Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.
