Wonder if it's to do with insurance reasons? Guess you can't claim the full amount back for stuff you've already sold reduced?

thats right it is, the store can claim back full cost for damaged stock, but have to prove its been disposed of, to the insurers, if they sell if off at discount they usually end up losing out.

Had a very successful haul today at S Helens Boots (By the B&Q Warehouse).
They had loads of christmas stuff reduced to 50p.

Got 6 tea light holders...the ones with the maroon leaves
2 Wallace & Grommit soap on a rope.
2 Bratz Bath & Shower Gel
    1 Bratz Bath Essence
Bratz make up bag for £1
5 day detox plan reduced to £3.50 from £13..50....remembered there was a 200pt Detox voucher in the ACM.... then the nice SA said they were BOGOF too! So effectively, 75p each. :D

So paid £8 for stuff that originally would have cost £82!! Bought a magazine to take it over £10 and got the obligatory skincare voucher :D

Plenty of bargains left there if u live nearby.
  • Hi all,had fantaca shopping day today.Went to Boots first(obviously) and headed straight for the hand wash bit.Got six bottles of the Honey an Almond (would've got more but only had six in that one, smelt all the others and they smelt like ya granny and even if its nearly free don't want to smell like me granny!) .They cost £1.66 each BOGOF and got 600 points for them.(how daft are the boots people?) and how clever are some of you for clocking this one?

    Then had a little mooch around the reduced stuff and got;
    Bobbypins pedicure set - £2.50 from £8.00
    Cosmo Beauty Case - £5.00 from £20.00 I think
Kangol Body Spray & Shower Gel - £2.00 from £8.00
Nat Collection Bath Pearls @ 25p each BOGOF .
(remember to check inside these sets cos things were missing out of some of them)

Got the points off the soap then paid for the rest in points icon7.gif
Also bought a FCUK handbag in House of Fraser for £5 instead of £20 and a purse in Jane Norman for £2.40 instead of £10.00. Happy shopping to you all.

I haven't used N07 products before, bit out of my price range but I am very impressed with the stuff I have had so far. Their foundation is marvellous, much better than what I was using before. I am also impressed with the products in the free bag, I think I've been converted!
(isn't that what Boots are aiming for?)

hello you! can you tell me if the Wakey AC machine is giving out the EI vouchers or Ponty if you have been (probably a silly question I know!) have to say I havent been into boots since 31 Jan TD/DR last day!

If you get 11 of the bodyform (with vouchers) spending just over £10.(as they're 99p each).
You will get the free skincare voucher and choccies voucher.

You can use the £1 vouchers for future purchases of Bodyform or try them in Tesco with your shopping.
