Fabulous fabulous day in Boots!
Bought 12 EI and got 1800 points and a £5 skin/choc voucher.
Used points from EI to buy 4 x no7 suncare items = free + free gift bag
Checked out the Roc Hydra and destressant for fatigued skin which had a shelf price of £7.47 but when took to till, price came up as £14.95.
Sa removed the Sel from shelf and overrode the real price and let it go through at £7.47 which was actually £2.47 due to freebie £5 skincare voucher!
Maybe a good item to check in your own shop and see if they will let you have it for the lower shelf priceStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
Found out a few of the answers to my own questions.
Botanics is on BOGOF until the end of this month
No7 Freebie looks like it going on to the end of March according to the the sign with a picture on the bag. But of course only while stocks last.

I only applied for my AC after discovering MSE early January. I haven't yet recieved my permanent card. Does anyone know just how long it may take? I am very jealous of all the EI points, and no chance of trying to get some!
I have actually managed to stay out of Boots for four whole days (helped by three children at home with flu) but I think i am going to have to go down tomorrow...!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I am determined to get my n7 for free, and as I wasn't sure that I could use my AC and have the 300 points for 7 the 75 for 10 pounds, I have returned 2 clairol colour (11.98 in a gift card) I did look very sad to the SA and she agreed to let me have a gift card instead of goods, as I told her that in our little boots they did not have an AC machine and I wanted the points before buying.
however... I have a question... Is it better to keep the gift voucher and buy with it more EI without spending money and have the points in the card and use the AC points to get the n7 in which case can I also have the other 300 n7 points and the 75 points if you spend 10 pounds. This is complicated. Help

I spied an offer on the 17 range of cosmetics today in Meadowhall, spend £5 on two products (I think that was the offer, should have written it down
) and get a free french manicure kit. Says the kit is worth £7 and it has the nail polishes, toe seperaters etc in it and comes in a gift box.

However thought that lady behind me was going to have a fit as was taking so long but she took an interest in what I was doing and was making my little one laugh that she then told me to wait as she did not have an advantage card and I could have her points as well!! - not bad as she spent £69.28 so another 271 points for nowt!!!! Why do people not just get a card!!!![/QUOTE]
What is even worse are those people who have cards and don't bother to use them except to build up a miniscule amount of points to "treat" themselves  - and how many of us fell into that category before we found this site - me for one!
Despite me trying to explain what to do a friend and a member of my family still fail to "maximise" their cards, so me thinks I will have to either frogmarch them into Boots to get their EI voucher or borrow their cards!
