I grabbed 10 bottles of EI and a few other bits and peices (spending over £10) and went to the till. He was quite shocked that i spent so much (£14.11) but realised what i was up to when i pointed out the 1595 points i got for the transaction. He said to me - Are you from Head Office? I told him i was just a smart shopper. Hehehe....

Not so smart if the SA then reports the glitch and the loophole gets shut. Probably best not to point out the error of their ways to them!!

I bought 10 EI items today and when the SA asked why I was getting so many I said it was because they were on BOGOF and would come in useful for Mother's day etc. They don't usually look at your points totals so wouldn't have guessed the real reason for my purchase.

    Just a thought.

I quite agree Carol that was my immediate thought.

Does anyone know if you can use a mixture of gift vouchers and points to buy an item?

For example, if an item costs £20 could I pay with a £10 gift voucher and then pay the remaining £10 in points?

NO ,you have to pay fully in points to use your points, IYSWIM. You can't part pay in points.

Thanks, just wondered if gift vouchers worked as a discount like normal vouchers do so I could pay the rest with points. How annoying!

It has a pic of a Quattro razor- and in the small print a footnote says 'Excludes blades'
I'm really impressed mummysaver- these are the kind of hard sums that I struggle with in store- need to take a calculator with me as I am easily confused.
mcallister1 - Forgot to say earlier, but if you need to add the values up, just use the calculator function on your mobile. You also won't look as sad doing that :D as you would wandering the aisles with a proper calculator!

I used 4900 of my points last week and everytime the SA's commented on how many points I had. I'm beginning to think I need to use some more and get it down for a while :o;) !
