It has a pic of a Quattro razor- and in the small print a footnote says 'Excludes blades'
I'm really impressed mummysaver- these are the kind of hard sums that I struggle with in store- need to take a calculator with me as I am easily confused.

Thanks, but usually I'm the one who's confused. Was only after leaving Boots yesterday with all my EI bargains (8 bottles of handwash - couldn't get any more, we're running out of space!) and 4 bottles of BOGOF shampoo, that I realised that I'd spent just under £10.00, so missed out on my £5.00 skincare voucher and cheap chocs!

Glad people on here are as batty as me :D as nobody could understand why I wasn't happy when I'd just been paid to take my goodies away from Boots! I was fuming all the way home, and was still thinking about it when I went to bed, in fact I'm still peeved! :o

LOL, the last time I did that the lovely assistant let me go and buy something else. Even though it came to £10 in 2 separate transactions she still gave me the voucher :D

   Went into a cold sweat the other day when I couldn't find my card, nearly died of excitement when I found it later whilst rummaging in my purse for vouchers at Tesco, woman behind the till must have thought I was bonkers!
I was so excited during the last day of TD/DR that at one till I accidentally threw the card at the SA and dropped me vouchers!

    Sad, innit! :D

    mummysaver - you're a star!

Did you use the "50 extra points when you spend over £7.50" AC voucher and if so, did it work?

Also, as your actual spend was only about £6 (after the £4 deduction) did you get the "£5 skincare/99p chocs voucher"? If not, then that means you have to have at least £10 worth's of goods after the £4 deduction to get the voucher.

    :D Thanks!

I bought some other bits to make it up to £10.00, after missing out on my voucher yesterday it wasn't going to happen again, though the nice SA did let me add my chocs to my basket and just scanned the voucher and ripped off that bit before she gave it to me.

The 50 points on £7.50 worked too!

Just in case anyone buys babyfood, I got some of the Heinz simply range, reduced from 66p to 46p on offer, and then used a 30 point voucher from the AC machine - so cost was 16p really. Will try to get some more tomorrow as baby nephew coming to stay for the weekend, and I know that SIL buys these! And the mum's ingredients voucher also works on the single Heinz ingredients jars, not just the double packs (cod and potato puree etc)

Also some of the glitterbabes glitz sprays are on offer (got the blue glittery ones for 46p each), but couldn't get everything price checked! Though the pink one was £1.25, not sure if this was correct price as SEL was missing. I know several people have found these reduced differently in different stores, and quite often the SELs aren't showing the correct prices, so any other discounts please post - DD's love all things glittery!

  • I've just had a strange experience in Boots. Found the EI products and took them to the till to be price checked as the shelf label was a lot more than what they were scanning at and i wanted to make sure what i was doing. The SA knows me for always getting loads of stuff for very little so gave me the "here we go again look". I grabbed 10 bottles of EI and a few other bits and peices (spending over £10) and went to the till. He was quite shocked that i spent so much (£14.11) but realised what i was up to when i pointed out the 1595 points i got for the transaction. He said to me - Are you from Head Office? I told him i was just a smart shopper. Hehehe....

If you spot it in time at the till you can always put thru a choccy bar or pack of chewing gum to force the total over £10.

Just before christmas I actually walked away from the till leaving my advantage card behind. Luckily the assistant ran after me with it. I nearly fainted when I learned what I'd done as I had £120 worth of points on it.

You should've said "Yes, but I've forgot my staff discount card!"

I'm gonna tell the next mardi SA I come across that I'm from Head Office, just to see her reaction! :D
