You should see me in Boots!!. I have 2 separate baskets when looking for offers.
I keep a mental note of what I have in each basket and cost and what vouchers/points coupons I can use and what freebies I can get.
That's so I go to the maximum like the £10 now for something like the choccies offer now on and the rest in the other basket.
For instance I would get the choccies voucher and then put the chocolates in the other basket and get the value of them (minus the
voucher) with other things in my second basket shop!
The SA usually ask if I want to pay for the other things but I say I need to get something else if I haven't reached the total I want in both baskets.
I'm missing out as I let the EI voucher go last week as didn't know only one was allowed from machine. Our store doesn't have EI stuff anyway.
My OH dreads me going in Boots but I usually get him a little something so he doesn't moan too much!

Had a fairly crap time in Boots yesterday. Shouldn't have been out anyway as have a head cold and brain not functioning at full "Boots power" at present.
First it was flooded and closed! Popped back later in the day when they'd re-opened - seemed fairly dry to me .
Took back 2 TD line smoothers with no receipt, so got £11 towards new purchase (originally cost me £1 obviously!). Managed to get £15 worth of Trevor Sorbie and FCUK mens products knocked down to just below £11 with the £4 reduction. Wanted to put thru the AC vouchers for TS/FCUK but the SA was kicking up a stink and saying I couldn't, even though I know you can as I'd managed to when I returned something the previous week. There was a queue forming behind me and I decided to just accept it as I'd got £15 worth of goods for an original outlay of £1. Annoyed though that if she'd accepted my card, the points would have gone on.
Win some, lose some!
Then picked up some of the Mediterranean Gift boxes (pot pourri, tea towel, candle and room fragrance) which are £4.50 reduced from £12 and which I've had me eye on for a while. Thought I'd see if they're in the BOGOF on the Med range, as it mentions no exclusions on the shelf promotion. But SA said they were excluded as they're Xmas stock.Decided to treat myself anyway, and so got them and something else to earn a Skincare/chocs voucher. Got home and checked them out (intense fragrance!) and found one of the candle pots is smashed and so will have to exchange that, which will involve another trip to Boots - what a tragedy.
