2. This promotion is open to all residents of the UK and Ireland, aged 18 and over, except for employees of ebookers and any of its subsidiaries or any companies or agencies directly connected with the creation and administration of this promotion or their families.
3. No purchase is necessary to enter. By entering the prize draw you agree to receive the ebookers.com newsletter with our best offers, travel tips and deal previews. You are free to opt out at any time.
4. The closing date for entries is 3rd March 2009.
5. There are two prizes. The first consists of one pair of return economy tickets to whichever destination you reached in the game if you are selected as the winner. This will depend on the number of questions you answer correctly. The second is a pair of return economy tickets to Hawaii with 7 nights accommodation (room only) at the hotel Hyatt Waikiki when you provide us with 1 or more friend's contact details (this is referred to as "refer a friend"). These prizes are subject to availability and does not represent entitlement to book to travel on a specific route on a specific date. Availability is more restrictive during peak periods. All taxes, fees and charges must be paid for by the passenger. Ticket validity cannot be extended. Reservations may only be changed before ticket issuance. Flights are subject to availability and embargos. Both passengers must travel together. Income taxes, if any or any other applicable surcharges shall be the responsibility of the winner, parent or legal guardian.
6. If you refer a friend, you must only do so if you have checked that they will not object to receiving an email from us.
7. Only one entry into each draw will be accepted per person. Entry into this promotion will be deemed to constitute full acceptance of these terms and conditions. No responsibility is assumed for any lost, delayed or incomplete entry forms.
8. Entry instructions form part of the rules. By completing the entry form/entering the prize draw, the prize winner confirms his/her agreement to take part, and allow the use of their name, in any associated publicity.
9. The winner and their companion(s) will be responsible for supplying valid passports and visas and, where necessary, for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations. It is strongly recommended that travellers take out adequate travel insurance.
10. This prize is non-negotiable, non-refundable and does not include insurance.
11. This prize is non-transferable to any other person and no cash or credit alternatives are possible.
12. Normal ebookers booking conditions apply. All flights are subject to availability and terms and conditions under which they are issued including ebookers standard terms and conditions available at www.ebookers.com.
13. The draw will be conducted within 14 days of the closing date.
14. The first prize winner will be the first name drawn at random from all entries submitted from all eligible participants. The second (the Hawaii holiday) prize winner will be the first name drawn at random from all entries submitted from all eligible participants who have referred a friend.
15. The winner will be notified by e-mail within 14 days of the closing date, and is required to accept their prize by e-mail within 14 days of notification. Details of how to book will be given at this time. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified time period, the winner will forfeit any and all claim to the prize awarded but not accepted. ebookers reserves the right to deal with the prize unaccepted in such manner as it, in its absolute discretion, thinks fit. The promoter reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise out of its control.
16. The promoter may substitute any prize that is awarded pursuant to this promotion as it, in its sole discretion, may determine.
17. The judges' decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. The promoter is not liable for any costs, claims, damages or loss suffered by any person as a result of entering this promotion occasioned by any failure, however caused, in the fulfilment of the terms of this promotion, except that no term in this promotion will operate to limit the liability of any party for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
19. If the promoter, in its reasonable opinion, believes that a person is deliberately manipulating entries into this promotion, the promoter may exclude such person from this promotion.
20. If any tax is levied by the Inland Revenue in respect of the award of any prize pursuant to this promotion, such tax levied will be the responsibility of, and paid by, the winner to the Inland Revenue.
21. These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
