Unfortunately the economic situation has a lot to do with it. I've been to a lot of interviews recently and have always got through to the final 2 or 3 but other people have more experience than me (graduated from uni 6 months ago so it's no suprise) Can you try bookeeping rather than accountancy at the moment or any admin thing to get you through? Do you have accountancy qualifications? If not then any admin or temp job (even though they are few and far between as well) migh thelp you pay for the necessary qualifications. Otherwise there is always the job centre if you find yourself with nothing when your temporary job comes to an end.
