    You need to see a solicitor. He can't just say that the maintenance money can stop because he has built up other debts.

    Don't go to that rent back website.

    1) rent backs take your equity, when you could sell and keep more of the equity yourself.

    2) rent backs give you no security. a years contract at low rent then you could be home less.

    3) that website you mentioned gives a virus warning on my machine.

  • EdInvestor I can assure you this is not spam, it is a genuine enquiry. As it is, I have decided not to go down that route, the money they offered for the house was rediculous to say the least, and the rent back more than I could afford. They said it is because of the credit crunch! I am keeping my head, and hope to keep the property, and not be pressurised by my ex. Thanks everyone.
