getting a bit worried now about my outgoings, both me and hubby have gone BR so the forms filled in, will be having the OR phone next week, this is what we put on our forms
we are a family of 5
Mortgage £600 rents in area are £700

Groceries £477
Gas & electric £200 This is what it is, no arrears
water £80 on a meter 5 showers per day ect..
Telephone £120 mobile, landline & broadband needed for coursework
CARs £350 all travelling costs, mot, tax, petrol, busfair for daughter to get to college. breakdown cover. (this is for two cars)
Clothing £200 family of 5 £40 each. kids grow quick.
council tax £187
Tv licence £12
life insurance £56
sky tv £36 (know they wont allow it but put it down anyway
opticians £25 both me and hubby wear glasses
Dentist £20
perscriptions £25
Childcare £200
Sundries £50 (hairdressing and daughter violin lesson £5)
Total outgoings £3080
Total income £3268 Includes £175 child benefit
Leaves a surplus of £188,
However, I didnt put down for things like family holidays, birthdays and presents, my sons swimming lessons, daughters ST johns costs, Also no cost put down for daughters college books ect, she is 18 but in full time education. Do you think these should be mentioned? I know he is going to try get our outgoings down and i know they are high, if i have no car i have no job, same as childcare cost they cant be cut down. The clothing of £40 each also is low, hubby wears a special leg brace & gets through 2 pairs of trouser per month, gas and electric are high even though we put in energy saving bulbs!
what do you thing the OR will say? any comments?
