big comp wins

Hi, was just reading about some of the big prizes people have won. Tell me, are these free entry competitions, or are there a lot of people out there who do the slogan comps.

I'm just curious, as I never really thought the free entry comps were worth bothering with (although you obviously stand a better chance of winning if you enter!)

Bur I always thought the slogan ones gave you a better chance coz there was less entrants and a bit of skill involved.

yes there defenitly worth entering but some sites can be dodgy and spam you this site is brilliant all free comps..

if it help just look at the winners pictures thread at the top of this i won i won i won .
also look at peaples writing in signitures under where they post

were your competitions free entries? I often enter the loose women and this morning ones but I honestly never really think I'll win. I did used to enter a lot of slogan ones a few years back and won a ew things: playstation, limited edition spice girls picture, a bike etc

By slogans do you mean the 'caption' type comps? I dont do those - only because I dont think I'm witty enough:rolleyes::D.

I do the comps on here that are free to enter and am very happy with my wins. You have to be in it to win it. Less people enter the caption comps, so your odds of winning are definitely increased. Good Luck

i have never paid to enter a comp... all free just enter email etc..... and i have to date my biggest win a huge wedding dress 495.00 and a 32" widescreen tv 500 ish. plus loads of other bits. you have to be in it to win it

I've never done a slogan/caption comp really if thats what you're talking about. I've never paid to enter one aside from the odd text. My biggest win was from a photo entry comp (£2000 cash) so more effort required there. I think these comps are def. worth the effort!

Saying that we have had a couple of v. decent wins just from entering our details, like a centerparcs win of £1000 worth of vouchers, so it is definitely possible.

Yes, the caption type of comps is what I used to do. I didn't think I was witty enough either, but once you start things pop into your head. You find yourself trying to think of words that rhyme etc! I was nowhere near as good as the pro's, but I did win a few things. People used to say, 'I never win anything' but when I asked if they entered them, they said 'no'!!

I used to win a few things, but you have to enter a lot and regularly. People just think you win loads but they don't realise that for every comp you win you have probably entered several competitions
